Animator

We are looking for an experienced, full time, inhouse animator.  If you want to be a part of Taleworlds team please do not hesitate to apply after considering the mentioned qualifications below!

 

Responsibilities

  • To create animation for characters, mounts, and other assets (keyframed or using mocap)

  • To create engaging in-game animations, prototyping testing & polishing

  • To work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary art team to help bring characters to life within the vision of the game design

  • To find and fix animation-related bugs and issues

  • To plan and assist motion capture sessions

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant professional animation experience

  • Proficient in both key-frame and motion capture workflows

  • Solid understanding of animation principles, with a keen sense of timing

  • Capability to work with artists, designers and programmers

  • Proficiency in animation software like Maya and MotionBuilder 

  • Ability to deliver quality work on deadlines

  • Strong communication skills

 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge, understanding, and familiarity with Mount & Blade games

  • Strong passion for animation, games and relevant technologies

  • Experience with Blender, Unity and other game engines

  • Experience on rigging

 

CV and a portfolio reel demonstrating relevant animation skills will be required for the application. You may be asked to complete an animation test as part of the selection process.
