ANNOUNCEMENT: Servers back up and stable! [UPDATED]

UPDATE: All our services are now back online and stable. Thank you to everyone for being so patient and supportive throughout all of this. We are determined to repay that by tightening security and making arrangements to avoid a repeat of this situation in the future!

It means a lot to us to have such a loyal playerbase.

If you experience any issues with any of our online services please do continue to report them on Facebook, Twitter or the forums just so we can iron out any lingering problems (there shouldn't be any!). Have a nice day and hopefully now you can get back to just enjoying the games and the forums!

Hello all!

We are making this announcement to explain some of the downtime over the previous couple of days. It appears we have been the targets of a cyber attack which has caused some downtime on a number of our online services. These include the website, forums and the multplayer main server. And is the reason you may currently be experiencing problems connecting to multiplayer games.

We would like to let you know that we are working constantly to bring out services back online and stabilise them. We were not prepared for an attack of this magnitude but we will also be tightening our security in the future to prevent this from happening again.

In addition, we are extrememly grateful for the overwhelming support we have received over the past few days from all of our players. It is very difficult when we cannot provide the services expected of us and we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience but it is a great help to us that the vast majority of messages we've received have been very understanding of the situation. We are determined to repay that and would like to offer our sincere thanks.
